Local Resilience Forum Manager

The principal responsibility of the Local Resilience Forum (LRF) Manager is to lead and provide the effective management, coordination and work delivery for all organisations making up the Devon, Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Resilience Forum (LRF). To ensure multi-agency cooperation between the Police and all stakeholders in order to prepare for and respond to major emergencies.

 In particular to:

  • The provision of strategic guidance, direction and interaction at regular meetings with the LRF Chair on matters affecting resilience, the LRF and multi-agency working.
  • Act as a lead for the police service regarding contingency and emergency planning issues associated with partner organisations.
  • Produce, maintain and manage the content of the LRF Business Plan, taking into account perceived benefits and best risk mitigation strategies.
  • Produce and manage the delivery of the LRF Work Programme; prioritising according to risk and ensure links across to the business plan and managing this accordingly.
  • Responsible for making decisions on all purchases related to contingency planning and the budget relating to this.
