The principal responsibility of the Local Resilience Forum (LRF) Manager is to lead and provide the effective management, coordination and work delivery for all organisations making up the Devon, Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Resilience Forum (LRF). To ensure multi-agency cooperation between the Police and all stakeholders in order to prepare for and respond to major emergencies.
In particular to:
- The provision of strategic guidance, direction and interaction at regular meetings with the LRF Chair on matters affecting resilience, the LRF and multi-agency working.
- Act as a lead for the police service regarding contingency and emergency planning issues associated with partner organisations.
- Produce, maintain and manage the content of the LRF Business Plan, taking into account perceived benefits and best risk mitigation strategies.
- Produce and manage the delivery of the LRF Work Programme; prioritising according to risk and ensure links across to the business plan and managing this accordingly.
- Responsible for making decisions on all purchases related to contingency planning and the budget relating to this.
