Central Intelligence operator - HIOWC 428

About The Role

The Intelligence & serious Organised Crime Department are looking to hire.


Your provide a range of core specialist support and to ensure all systems are correctly managed in accordance with manufacturers, force and national guidelines.

You will act as a central point of contact for any external requests from other Law enforcement or government agencies, conducting detailed research for the purposes of informing internal strands with clear and 
concise product.

You will assist operational planning with clear, concise, regular products to inform risk when authorised by the CIO line supervisor and provide ANPR research to assist operational policing with detailed 
hotlists and intelligence products.

You will also provide ANPR assistance to ongoing investigations as authorised by the CIO line supervisor and work closely with the ANPR manager to ensure camera positions are 
strategically aligned to the needs and current intelligence requirements for Hampshire & IOW Constabulary.

Essential Qualifications


Educated to QCF Level 2 (5 passes) OR work experience 
deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable 
level.

To be computer literate.

Essential Experience


Knowledge and understanding of relevant law, criminal 
investigations and criminal justice processes.

Experience working under pressure, which includes 
handling complex, confidential and sensitive data.
