Response Police Constable Transferee

PLEASE NOTE: YOU NEED TO BE A CURRENT SERVING OFFICER IN A HOME OFFICE FORCE.

Nottinghamshire Police are now seeking Transferee applications from Police Constables from a Home Office force for Response postings only.

Officers must hold current accreditation and be deployable, be trained in at least Standard Response Driving and in ticket for PPST and First Aid. PSU and Taser would be preferable but not essential.

All applicants will be considered, but this will be on a case-by-case basis.

We have a bespoke fast-track Transferee process in place and will tailor training to your needs whilst fully recognising previous qualifications and skills. We are flexible enough to offer postings across the whole force area (exceptions apply).

You will need to complete our online application form. Applicants will then be shortlisted and interviewed to the same high standards expected of all entrants to Nottinghamshire Police. In addition successful candidates must complete our standard pre-employment checks to the required standard. In order to transfer to Nottinghamshire Police from a Home Office Police force, you must:

- Be a serving officer in a recognised Home Office police force at the rank of Constable.

- Be trained in at least Standard Response Driving and in ticket for PPST and First Aid.

- PSU and Taser would be preferable but not essential.

- Constable applicants must have completed the 2 year probationary period.

- Be free from complaints and hold a full UK/EU manual driving licence.

We are seeking transferee applicants who are enthusiastic, driven and share our relentless drive to deliver excellent service to the public.

Applicants will be required to undertake a training needs analysis as part of the selection process.

Vetting Level - Recruitment - you must have resided in the UK for at least the last 3 years.
