About the team
Cyber Griffin is a NCSC assured and CPD certified programme which makes up one arm of the City of London Police’s Cyber Crime Unit. Supported by the Corporation of London, Cyber Griffin protects businesses from cyber criminality and assists the Square Mile in offering world-leading security to the UK’s centre of business.
Currently offering 6 core PROTECT and PREPARE services, with the intention of launching more in FY 26/27, the programme has developed a threat-focused service model which helps to address key challenges facing the City of London: general security awareness, incident response and strategic planning. To date, Cyber Griffin have trained over 103,000 end users, conducted over 2,700 services and partnered with 1,600 companies.
About the role
This role will lead on the financial, data management, administrative, and project management responsibilities required to deliver Cyber Griffin’s strategic objectives. This post requires management of senior internal and external stakeholders, development and execution of the programme’s public communications strategy, completion of performance analysis, and strategic report writing.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be:
- Coordination of the programmes inbox and team calendar ensuring the dissemination and response to requests and that calendar conflicts are identified.
- Manage programme performance metrics using excel, power BI, SharePoint, and facilitate programme reporting to national policing through APMIS.
- Manage programme finances. This includes officer manager duties and yearly budget monitoring including all related CBIS responsibilities.
- Maintain the standard operating procedures (SOPs), the quality management system (QMS) and all related documentation the programme relies on to maintain its accredited statuses.
- Create and deliver the programme’s communication strategy through social media platforms.
Requirements
For this role, we need you to have experience of:
- Experience of or an aptitude to learn software applications specifically excel, power BI, SharePoint and APMIS.
- Strong reporting and communication skills to manage to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills required maintain the programme’s schedule of deliveries, performance reviews, and financial reporting.
- Experience of personal data management i.e. CMA, GDPR and associated legislation.

Selection Process
As part of the initial application process, you will be asked to evidence how your experience, skills, and knowledge demonstrate your ability to meet the person specification of the role.
The application and interview will be tested under Level 2 of the College of Policing Competency and Values Framework.
Applicants who fail to address the skills/knowledge/experience of the job description will not be considered.
