About the Role
In this role, you will support the effective configuration, administration and ongoing development of key Core Digital Policing systems used across Lincolnshire Police, including NICHE, PRONTO, DEMS and Body Worn Video platforms. Working under guidance, you’ll help implement and test new functionality, support system upgrades and ensure our digital tools continue to meet operational needs. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining strong working relationships across the organisation and ensuring all work aligns with the Force values and the policing Code of Ethics.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing system configuration, administration and defect resolution to support day‑to‑day operations.
- Translating user requirements into clear system designs and processes.
- Advising CDP users, ICT teams and business stakeholders on system functionality and best practice.
- Supporting the collation and documentation of change requirements.
- Testing system changes and assisting the business in evaluating new features.
- Producing functional specifications, use cases and feasibility information for proposed developments.
- Analysing data, producing reports and identifying opportunities for technical or process improvements.
- Monitoring system performance and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensuring secure system access through regular audits and management of permissions.
- Preparing and delivering presentations or demonstrations for stakeholders when required.
