Here is your chance to gain invaluable experience and insight into the world of policing through our comprehensive work experience insights programme.
About the programme:
As 1 of 36 work experience students, you will take part in a week-long programme which is designed to showcase different areas of policing; from Police Dogs Support to Forensics and everything in between. We will provide you with activities to practice some of the skills required to be a police officer, information about policing, and the opportunity to ask your questions of our experienced officers and staff.
The programme is based at Police Headquarters, Weston Road, Stafford, between the hours of 9.30 and 4.15pm. You will be required to attend in person on all days.
Eligibility:
The programme is open to Staffordshire based applicants (must either live or attend a school/college in Staffordshire).
The dates for the available programmes will fall as follows:
- 14th to the 18th of June 2027 – College students, age 17+, those not in employment and considering a career in policing
