About the Role
Your key responsibilities in this role may include:
- Provide a visible mounted presence in rural areas to reassure residents and deter criminal activity.
- Maintain regular contact with the Country Watch Team and local Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPT), ensuring duty reports and feedback are completed and submitted.
- Share relevant information and intelligence with policing teams to support local operations.
- Undertake required training and participate in continued professional development.
- Support community events and initiatives, helping to raise awareness of the role and rural policing activities.

- Do you own a horse, or have permission to use a horse suitable for mounted rural patrols?
- Are you physically fit and confident in conducting mounted patrols across a variety of terrains?
