The successful post holder will work within the Management of Sexual Offenders and Violent Offenders (MOSOVO) Unit. You will supervise a small team of staff using the Violent and Sexual Offenders Register (ViSOR) computer system. You will be a central point of contact for the ViSOR Standards Document.
You will be responsible for overseeing the administration, operation and Integrity of ViSOR in accordance with current ViSOR standards. You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate, relevant and up to date intelligence database. Ensuring it complies with Force criteria, the Data Protection Act 1998, the European Convention of Human Rights (ECHR), the National Intelligence Model, Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) Codes of Practice Manual of Guidance in relation to the recording and dissemination of intelligence material and the Codes of Practice for Information Management.
