West Yorkshire Police are looking to recruit a part time SLT Secretary to join the Business Services team in the Wakefield area.
Within this role you will provide a comprehensive support function to a District/Departmental Senior Leadership Team.
This role will require you to be the first point of contact for Senior Leadership Team ensuring calls, messages and visitors are dealt with in a courteous and efficient manner. Maintaining and coordinating diaries, calendars and rotas are essential to the role, to ensure effective time management of the Senior Leadership Team. In addition, you will attend regular meetings ensuring accurate minutes and actions are logged, completed and updated accordingly.

Requirements of the role:
• Typing experience which will show a high level of accuracy and speed of no less than 30wpm.
• Ability to work as a part of a team.
• Good knowledge of and ability to operate computerised software packages
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise workload with minimal supervision.
• Good standard of written and oral communication skills.
• Previous experience working in an office or administration function.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, with a methodical and analytical approach to problem solving.
