Constable – Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) Officers
We have exciting opportunities for motivated and community focused officers to join our Safer Neighbourhood Teams. Applications are welcomed from substantive constables and student officers nearing completion of their programmes.
These roles offer the chance to play a key part in neighbourhood policing, working closely with local communities to understand and address the issues that matter most. You will adopt a proactive, problem solving approach to reduce harm, increase public confidence, and provide visible reassurance.
As an SNT officer, you will:
-Build strong relationships with local communities and partners
-Identify and address local priorities through problem solving
-Deliver targeted activity to reduce demand and prevent crime
-Act as a visible and accessible presence within your communities
You will be confident working independently, with the ability to manage your time effectively while remaining responsive to emerging priorities. Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for community based policing are essential.
We recognise flexibility in location is important. Opportunities are available across a number of areas, and applicants are encouraged to contact their local Inspector or Chief Inspector to discuss potential postings and options that best suit both operational needs and personal preferences.
