Full Job Title: PC - MOSOVO Offender Manager (Internal)

Location: North

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

 An opportunity has arisen for a number of posts working as a Constable - Offender Manager in MOSOVO, based at Shrewsbury / Telford.  The advert is open to substantive PCs' and DCs'.  Working hours will generally be Monday-Friday, 0900 - 1700 hours shift.

You will be based at either Malinsgate Police Station (Telford) or Shrewsbury Police station.

Your role will be to conduct visits on registered sex offenders ensuring they are complying with their notification requirements, conduct risk assessments and develop risk management profiles.  You will investigate any identified breaches or other offences found during visits.  You will work closely with partner agencies and other departments within the police, including IOM< DFU and Intelligence.  

This role is crucial to preventing re-offending by registered sex offenders and safeguarding the community.

Good communication skills are critical with an emphasis on working closely with partner agencies.   Candidates must have a full driving licence.   Good understanding of Athena and referral mechanisms to partners (Council, Housing, etc) is preferred

Training and mentoring will be provided to the successful candidate, including ViSOR training and risk assessments tools.
