We are recruiting for a Surveillance Motorcyclist (Q2 qualified) to join our highly regarded Counter Terrorism (CT) Surveillance team.
Our motorcycle surveillance operatives carry out covert, mobile, technical and foot surveillance to gather critical intelligence and evidence, in full compliance with the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 and Human Rights legislation. They also provide daily debriefs on surveillance operations, ensuring all evidential logs are accurate and complete
The successful candidate will demonstrate;
- Evidence of conducting both mobile and foot surveillance. The mobile aspect will evidence both within a car and upon a motorbike
- Evidence of having completed surveillance logs to a national standard, as well as knowledge of disclosure
- The ability to work under pressure and demonstrate flexibility within your role, with effective team working skills
You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home. For this reason a full UK Driving Licence is essential to the role. You will also be required to perform on-call arrangements for immediate response as required across the South East region
Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level SC together with a number of enhanced security checks. In order to achieve this, you must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions may apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad. Please be aware that if successful there are limitations on travelling to a small number of countries once in post
