We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join a newly established Out of Court Resolution Team.

The team will support Cumbria Constabulary to address low level offending as part of the Out of Court Resolution framework working with victims and offenders to reduce re-offending within Cumbria and to deliver Restorative Justice to victims and offenders in Cumbria.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can support the aims and objectives of the Out of Court Resolution Team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Use the offenders needs assessments to agree a bespoke programme of referrals and interventions to address their criminogenic needs.
- To monitor the progress of offenders undertaking the agreed programme (contract) and through ongoing assessment determine if they have met the requirements of their OOCR.
- Liaise with victims as part of victim Care and in line with the victim codes and community Remedy policies.
- Promote and advocate OOCR including Restorative Justice.
- Deliver Restorative interventions to offenders and victims of crime within Cumbria interested in exploring Restorative Justice.
