Job Title: Senior LMS Analyst
Salary: The starting salary is £ 63,409, which includes allowances totalling £3,009.
The salary is broken down as £ 60,400 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £ 65,886. Plus, a location allowance of £2,009 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

The Senior LMS Analyst is a leadership role responsible for the ongoing development, optimisation, and operational management of the organisation’s Learning Management System (LMS) and wider learning technology.
The role combines technical expertise, service leadership, and people management, ensuring that the LMS delivers an effective, user centred experience while supporting organisational learning objectives. The postholder will lead a small team, including LMS analysts and service desk resources, and play a key role in shaping the future direction of digital learning services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of LMS analysts and service desk staff, setting clear objectives and performance expectations.
- Provide coaching, support, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Develop a customer focused team culture.
- Manage team capacity, workload prioritisation, and resource planning.
- Oversee the configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of the LMS platform.
- Lead on system upgrades, enhancements, and change implementation.
- Ensure the LMS aligns with organisational learning strategies and business needs.
- Evaluate and support integration with other learning technologies and systems.
- Oversee the LMS service desk function, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues and user queries.
- Define and monitor service standards, SLAs, and performance metrics.
- Continuously improve support processes to enhance user experience.
- Act as an escalation point for complex system or user issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, usability, and engagement.
- Lead on user experience improvements, including interface design and content accessibility.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support innovation in digital learning approaches and tools.
