SEIZED PROPERTY CLERK

Role Purpose:

To manage and govern all aspects in respect of the lifecycle of items of property and exhibits whilst they remain the responsibility of North Wales Police.  This will include their security, integrity and continuity whether within the Property & Exhibits environment or elsewhere for a policing purpose, including external partners responsible for assisting law enforcement organisations in their endeavours.  

These undertakings will be governed by local and national policies and procedures and in accordance with Health & Safety regulations. 

You will be required to demonstrate in your application the minimum requirement for the role:

  • Possess an NVQ 3 level qualification or equivalent and/or equivalent level of work experience.  
  • Possess sound judgement skills with the confidence to make justifiable decisions. Demonstrate a professional and structured approach to problem solving.  
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.  
  • Computer literate and experience in using Microsoft applications.  
  • Able to work under pressure in stressful situations, to organise and prioritise workloads and achieve objectives within set timelines.  
  • Ability and experience in the interpretation and management of data and ability to input high volumes of data accurately and in a timely manner.  
  • The role will require experience in handling sensitive and confidential material.  
  • Proven administrative, analytical and organisational skills.  
  • Current and valid driving licence which must include manual vehicle.
