We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a passion for keeping communities safe to join our Firearms and Explosives Licensing Team at HQ Winsford.
In this interesting role you will conduct enquiries for the grant, variation and renewal of firearm, shotgun, and explosives certificates, in accordance with legislation. In addition, you will be responsible for the inspection of Registered Firearms Dealers and Shooting Club premises, providing advice or action as necessary.
You will be responsible for completing face to face and telephone interviews and assessing suitability, providing written reports to senior managers. Please see the attached role profile for full role accountabilities.
