S3 - Administrator

An exciting opportunity is available to be part of a high performing team within the Administration/Estates Team at HQ, Winsford. As a key member of the Team, you'll play a vital role in supporting operational policing across the Force. This is a varied and fast-paced position where no two days are the same. You'll be the go-to person for colleagues, helping to keep services running smoothly and ensuring officers and staff have the resources they need to serve our communities effectively.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised and able to manage a varied workload.  Enjoys helping people and delivering excellent customer service and has strong administrative and organisational skills.  In this role you must be able to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.  Computer skills are essential, as are your ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a professional and responsive on-site administration service, supporting operational policing activities, ensuring efficient management of pocket notebooks, daybooks, officer uniform, lockers and receiving deliveries.
  • Manage the ordering and distribution of stationery and consumables, maintaining stock levels and sourcing specialist items where required.
  • Administer the Imprest account and support financial processes, including Senior Officers GPC cards, maintaining compliance with Force financial regulations.
  • Act as first contact for the Estates Service Desk logging and recording incoming calls and emails, raising requests for jobs within the team and GRN of completed work.
  • Participate in the production of Force ID cards.

This vacancy is a temporary role for a period of 12 months - any internal applicants will need to provide a line manager endorsement form signed by their manager and head of department.
