Administrator - Congleton LPU

Please note this is a part-time position, working 3 days per week - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

An exciting opportunity is available to be part of a high performing team within the Administration/Estates Team, based at Congleton Station. As a key member of the Team, you'll play a vital role in supporting operational policing in your Station. This is a varied and fast-paced position where no two days are the same. You'll be the go-to person for colleagues, helping to keep services running smoothly and ensuring officers and staff have the resources they need to serve our communities effectively.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised and able to manage a varied workload.  Enjoys helping people and delivering excellent customer service and has strong administrative and organisational skills.  In this role you must be able to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.  Computer skills are essential, as are your ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a professional and responsive on-site administration service, supporting operational policing activities, ensuring efficient management of pocket notebooks, daybooks, officer uniform, lockers and receiving deliveries.
  • Manage the ordering and distribution of stationery and consumables, maintaining stock levels and sourcing specialist items where required.
  • Act as support for the Estates Service Desk by logging and recording estates issues for onward resolution.
  • Where appropriate, assist with Contractors visiting the station on behalf of Estates, ensuring visitors are signed in/out and our building security adhered to.
  • Assist other Administration colleagues at times of annual leave or sickness, providing both remote and on-site cover.
