West Yorkshire Police, the lead Force for the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Scientific Support Services, is looking to appoint a Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) Support Officer based in Ossett, Wakefield.

Role and Responsibilities
Supporting CSI Officers in the day to day running of the department, the CSI Support Officer will provide a service to both the region and the Force by processing and maintaining administrative records and information systems.

Expectations and Essential Criteria:
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, extremely organised and able to prioritise a varied workload. Good interpersonal and communication skills are key as is experience of effective engagement with a diverse range of people. This includes working with both internal and external customers. With a proven ability to navigate computer systems and basic software applications, the successful candidate will also be able to work independently using their own initiative. The role of CSI Support Officer involves a significant amount of quality assurance and exhibit management, so attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records is essential. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a flexible and positive attitude to borderless working in order to ensure a full regional crime scene investigation service.
