 About the Opportunity

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Robotic Process Automation Developer to join the RPA Team within the DDaT department at Staffordshire Police. 

The RPA Team is responsible for the development and operation of automations in addition to identification and analysis of potential automation opportunities. 

Although you will be developing automations in Blue Prism, experience is not a pre-requisite. We have a wealth of experience both within the team and the wider DDaT department, and you will be trained in an advanced BluePrism methodology. A background in process automation and personally led continuous improvement would be very beneficial, as would an understanding of XML, SQL and JSON as you will be working regularly with web services.

As a Developer you’ll be required to help gather requirements, work from specifications, and then develop, test and deploy. You will take ownership of delivering specific process automations typically with a 4 to 8 week development cycle, working alongside Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts and the wider Project.

You will engage in a variety of business areas and will become a key point of contact during development, in addition to ongoing support once your automations are running in production.
