As part of the team working in the Operational Support Division you can make a real difference by supporting the provision of Resource Deployment to our officers and staff.
Key Responsibilities -
To support, supervise, mentor and manage the Resource Deployment Support Officers as their first line manager, to ensure the efficient running of the units.
To ensure effective deployment of personnel within the respective business areas by updating, interrogating and managing SCoPE and ancillary computer systems.
To assist in forward planning for events and to provide solutions in response to spontaneous incidents that have an impact on resource resilience, addressing resourcing issues as they arise and ensuring that figures are maintained at the required levels, as defined by the patrol plans and demand profiles.
Provide guidance to staff, ensuring a corporate and fair approach to the management of duty rosters and other resourcing issues.
This role will be Monday-Friday 0800-1600.
