The Resource Co-ordinator role is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and knowledgeable team at the heart of policing.
You'll play a key role in managing and coordinating the duties of approximately 6,000 police officers and staff across the force, helping to ensure the right resources are in the right place at the right time to meet operational demand. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
As part of the role, you'll develop specialist knowledge and become a subject matter expert in areas such as Working Time Regulations, Police Regulations, Staff Working Conditions and force policies, providing advice and guidance to officers and staff across the organisation. The role requires problem-solving, decision-making and effective communication skills, as you'll work closely with departments across the force to balance resources and maintain operational resilience.
The team currently works flexibly between 0700 and 1700hrs, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 6 weekends and benefits from a hybrid working arrangement. Following the initial training period, colleagues currently attend the office in Netley two days per week, with the remaining days working from home, providing a great work-life balance.
