Research and Contact Assistant - Grade D - Economic Crime Unit - Temporary - 760

These posts are funded for 12 months- from GMCA funding.

We are looking for 3 staff members to join our already successful team at the following locations Oldham, Trafford and Bolton.

Operation wage

Shows the expansion of our Cyber and Economic Crime Awareness Service.

Working with the CECAS team you will also work alongside volunteers.

Your role will be to look at providing safeguarding to victims of crime and target hardening within the community.

You will work in partnership with agencies to look to reduce and tackle fraud.

You will attend a number of community events within the community each week where you will deliver information and talks in order to assist in the reduction of fraud.

Casual Vehicle allowance will be paid for each candidate. Therefore, the candidate will need to drive and be willing to use there personal vehicle for the role.

There will be no home working as part of the role.

The posts are temporary and are expected to end 31/03/2027. 

Internal staff have the opportunity to express an interest in undertaking a temporary role as a development opportunity. If you are in a permanent post and wish to take up a temporary position as a development opportunity, you will need to seek approval from your line manager to have your substantive post backfilled on a temporary basis. If your line manager is not able to support your release into a temporary post this would not preclude you from applying but you would be required to relinquish your permanent post and accept the risks associated with redeployment at the end of the temporary appointment.
