To provide practical, technical, and administrative support to ensure the delivery of effective Firearms Training to police officers and approved external personnel on all Force Firearms Ranges. To undertake Police Firearms Range Management and maintenance responsibilities. To ensure the police firing ranges are inspected in accordance with the Handbook of Police Range Safety (vol 1&2).
