The principal responsibility of the Radio Supervisor is to provide supervision of radio operators within the Control Room environment as they complete the task of dispatching police resources and emergency call handling where appropriate.
In particular to:
- Complete dip sampling on performance of emergency call handling and radio work.
- Assist radio operators as necessary in the resourcing and management of urgent and critical incidents.
- Be responsible for log closures completing checks under NSIR guidelines.
- Ensuring fault finding on radio networks and reporting where appropriate
