Salary: £35,754.47 plus £4,613.61 London allowance per annum

Type of Working Arrangement: Blended approach of home and office-working available (Minimum of 2 days per week, typically onsite with the Forensic Teams at varying locations)

The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a motivated individual to join the Quality Management Team as a Quality Officer, in a key role supporting our commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
As part of this opportunity, you’ll work closely with the Quality Manager to help deliver and maintain a robust quality framework across the department. You’ll provide expert advice and guidance to management teams on quality assurance and accreditation matters, ensuring our practices meet the highest standards.
A central part of your role will be supporting coordination of accreditation activities conducting internal audits, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the resolution of non-conformances. You will also be administering the Quality Management Systems within Crime and Public Protection, driving forward service improvements.

Demonstrated experience in both preparing and conducting internal audits, supported by relevant training, or similar experience.
Experience with accreditation/certification processes, including familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory codes.
Ability to produce clear and concise audit reports, contribute to documentation, and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Capable of planning and prioritising workload independently, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project coordination.

Requirement to carry out work accurately and to a high standard.
The post holder may be required to work from different locations other than the home station.
The post holder will be expected to undertake training as and when required and assist in the organisation of specialist quality awareness events.
