PSV - Schools Safety Volunteer

We welcome applications for a new Schools Safety Teams Volunteer.

This role will consist of the following:

  • Support Schools officers with engagement with youths and parents – both in and out of schools - primarily around knife crime and child criminal exploitation.
  • This may include assisting with presentations/assemblies within the school, attending school events such as career days or school fairs and supporting evening events where we reach out to parents to educate them around exploitation and serious youth violence.
  • Assist in reaching more people/youths by talking to them on a 1 to 1 basis,  or helping with running the events on the day – directing people to their seats/facilities, including helping with refreshments/handing out biscuits, setting up and tidying up the tables/chairs/displays.

This is an as and when required role.
