Prosecutions Supervisor

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for delivering high‑quality criminal justice services? We’re looking for a Prosecutions Supervisor to provide day‑to‑day leadership and oversight of a multi‑disciplinary team working across several police stations.

About the role

As a Prosecutions Supervisor, you will manage and support a diverse team that includes administrative staff, file checkers, evidence review officers, audio specialists, and archive officers. You’ll ensure the smooth and efficient progression of prosecution files, maintaining high standards in line with legislative requirements, Criminal Justice Service performance indicators, and Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership, guidance, and first‑line management to a multi‑site, multi‑disciplinary team.
• Oversee the accurate, timely preparation and submission of prosecution files to the CPS and courts.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with key partners, including CPS, HMCTS, Police Officers, and the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.
• Manage and maintain both current and historic records (manual and digital), ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GDPR and MoPI standards.
• Act as a systems administrator for critical platforms such as Common Platform and Xhibit.
