Location: Headquarters, Northallerton, with the opportunity for hybrid working

Contract: Permanent, contractually employed by NYP

Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week

Salary: Scale 4, £27,204 - £29, 703

Closing Date: 9am 8th June 2026

 The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Support Officer to join our Change Delivery Team. This is a key role providing high-quality administrative and project support, helping ensure the successful delivery of corporate change initiatives.

You will work closely with Project Managers and the Leadership Team to support project delivery, maintain documentation, and contribute to performance reporting and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support across the Change Delivery Team
  • Support project and programme management activities, including preparing dashboards, reports, and board papers
  • Carry out quality assurance checks on project documentation
  • Organise and support meetings, workshops, and events (including minute-taking and action tracking)
  • Produce and distribute communications, reports, and documentation within agreed timescales
  • Maintain project templates, document libraries, and version control systems
  • Support scheduling of meetings including project, portfolio, team, and board meetings
  • Help develop and improve administrative systems, including maintaining Teams and SharePoint sites
  • Support the maintenance and oversight of the Change Delivery dashboard

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Experience in an administrative or project support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and analytical approach
  • Experience in organising meetings, including minute and action taking

Desirable

  •  Experience working within project management environments
  •  Knowledge of recognised project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, APM)
