About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable individual to coordinate and champion problem solving across Lincolnshire Police. This role is central to delivering the Force’s strategy by ensuring our workforce is equipped to identify and address the root causes of crime and anti-social behaviour. You will promote effective problem-solving techniques, embed best practice, and support a culture aligned with our core values of courage, respect, empathy, and public service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the development and delivery of problem-solving plans across the Force
- Providing expert advice, coaching, and training on problem-solving methodologies
- Building strong partnerships with internal teams, partner agencies, and other forces
- Identifying risks and supporting teams to prioritise and manage high-harm issues
- Monitoring performance, maintaining records, and reporting on effectiveness to senior leaders
- Supporting multi-agency problem solving and contributing at tactical meetings
- Promoting best practice, sharing learning, and representing the Force at regional and national events
- Working with Learning & Development and Communications teams to embed and promote problem-solving approaches
