Problem Solving and Designing Out Crime Team Lead

We are looking for an individual to not only to manage a team of specialist problem Solvers and Designing Out Crime officers but to lead on problem solving across Devon and Cornwall police. Excellent communication skills are required as the postholder must be able to work with others, both across the organisation and with partners, at every level. The postholder will be a key motivator and influencer as the “Head of Profession” for problem solving and its development across all areas of business. Previous experience and knowledge of crime prevention and problem solving is essential, particularly at a strategic level. We are looking for an individual who will bring evidenced-based, innovative problem solving approaches to reduce and prevent crime in the short, medium and long-term.
