Positive Action and Engagement Officer

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Positive Action and Engagement Officer to support Lincolnshire Police in becoming a more inclusive, diverse and representative organisation. Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will develop and deliver positive action initiatives that encourage applications from under-represented groups and promote Lincolnshire Police as an employer of choice.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Organising and delivering positive action, recruitment and engagement events.
  • Building relationships with community groups, schools, universities and partner organisations.
  • Supporting candidates from under-represented groups throughout recruitment processes.
  • Working with staff networks, scrutiny panels and internal departments to promote inclusion.
  • Creating and supporting communication campaigns that raise awareness of career opportunities and positive action initiatives.

You should be passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion, enjoy working with a wide range of people and be able to deliver engaging initiatives that make a real difference. Experience in community engagement, recruitment, communications or EDI activities would be advantageous.
