Could you spare some of your time to improve the efficiency of your local police service?
Gwent Police are looking for experienced vehicle drivers to support the movement and basic maintenance of police vehicles across Gwent. This will involve planned coordination, collection and delivery of vehicles, thereby ensuring operational policing teams have access to the right vehicles,at the right location and in the right condition.
Main duties:
- Deliver coordinated vehicle movement across the force area, as directed.
- Complete vehicle movement records.
- Basic maintenance checks (no mechanical knowldege required!)
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with no disqualifications.
- Experience of driving a variety of vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Ability to carry out basic vehicle safety checks and complete written records accurately in accordance with procedure.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
