People Services Administrator (Secondment/Fixed Term Contract - Part Time)

Secondment/Fixed Term Contract until 1st September 20206 to 31st March 2027

Part Time – 26.5 hours per week

This role ensures Thames Valley Police are able to provide the administration of training of all new and current Officers and Staff. Your duties will cover a wide range of tasks such as preparing Materials, printing of Warrant Cards, activating fob access and sorting of uniform deliveries.  This role will also support the E-Learning Administration function.  Duties include, running of daily reports from College Learn and Moodle and uploading into Peoplesoft. Management of E-Learning queries from a shared mailbox.  Cover for Reception is required as and when.

This post will require an approachable, flexible, fair and professional attitude, with the ability to be creative and passionate about delivering a quality service to Staff, Officers, internal and external stakeholders. Attention to detail is crucial as well as the ability to problem solve, use your initiative, be able to juggle a number of different tasks and make appropriate decisions. 

You will have recent experience of working in an administrative and/or Training environment. Working under pressure and to deadlines, along with proven computer skills and the ability to interrogate and accurately input data from a variety of sources. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

This role is a hybrid role working at Sulhamstead and home as per the business need (Tuesday to Friday).   This role does not include Recruitment Administration.

Please note: Shift allowance, on-call or other job related allowances from the previous role will not be protected unless they are attached to the new role for the duration of the secondment.
