PCC Project and Strategy Officer (Serious Violence)

Are you passionate about reducing harm, supporting victims and making a real difference in your community? If the answer is yes, you could be part of a dynamic team in the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Office, helping to shape the partnership response to reducing serious violence across our area.

The serious violence duty requires a multi-agency approach designed to bring together police, local government, health agencies, education and other community representatives to tackle violent crime, and importantly, its underlying causes. The post holder will support the development of the serious violence strategy, the delivery of the Police, Crime and Justice Plan and will be collectively responsible for oversight and delivery of aligned projects.

With an understanding of the local landscape, you will develop close relationships with key partners to provide a cross-sector response and early interventions to support the reduction of serious violence.
