PC-Vulnerability Hub

The main purpose of the Vulnerability Hub is to review and triage all Police systems, Vulnerable Adult Referrals, Vulnerable Child Referrals and DA to identify safeguarding concerns against the threshold of need to signpost the correct pathway to provide that child, adult and/or family support from the most relevant agency through our Daily partnership meetings.

The Vulnerability Hub conducts Police checks by sharing relevant information with partner agencies, and review and research high risk referrals and complete secondary risk assessment. They also assess against thresholds and share where appropriate with partners such as social care and domestic abuse partnerships.

A key element of work is the partnership liaison and police delivery of strategy discussions.

We are recruiting for positions of PVP Police Constable: Vulnerability Hub within the Vulnerability Hub within our Protective Vulnerable Persons Unit (PVP). 

As a PVP Police Constable, you will actively engage in the risk assessment of vulnerability, information sharing, leading partnership meetings and strategy discussions.

You will also be responsible for undertaking urgent and critical research, assisting in the analysis and distribution of information ensuring compliance with the relevant legislation at all times.

The successful candidate will also be required to liaise with partner agencies such as Social Services, to ensure that accurate information is obtained, prepared, and shared - so being able to communicate effectively with people at all levels is key.

You will work from the Vulnerability Hub within Police HQ, where there will be clear mentoring and a continuous professional development structure to ensure you feel supported and equipped to keep the vulnerable people within our county safe.
