The Out of Court Resolutions Team is a close-knit and welcoming team. We work across the peninsula with clients from a range of backgrounds and have a focus on training and development and person-centred approaches. There are opportunities to work on projects alongside the core role based around skills and interests which would be beneficial to the team, as well as learn from others in the team through shadowing and peer support.
The principal responsibility of the Out of Court Resolution (OoCR) Keyworker is to facilitate and deliver bespoke interventions for first time entrants to the criminal justice system and those with a low-level disposal history, through referrals and appointments as an integral part of the deferred charge scheme.
The Keyworker will build a rapport and actively engage with the offender and refer as necessary to other agencies and statutory organisations. There will be an expectation that the keyworker will also deliver brief intervention across the critical pathways.
