Operational Support Officer - Coordination Unit - Grade C - 453

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team, to join the Serious Crime Directorate Coordination unit in the position of Operational Support Officer. The successful applicant will play an important part in providing a range of support services to the Directorate and the units within.

The successful candidate should be confident to engage with GMP colleagues and should have the ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm but firm.

With IT experience and of dealing with customers over the telephone you will have worked in a similar capacity, checking, recording, inputting and retrieving information.

Working with minimum supervision and to tight timescales together with producing work to the required standard is also essential to the role as is good written communication skills.
