OPCC Digital Marketing Manager - HIOWC382

The Office of Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) supports the Police and Crime Commissioner serving Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The OPCC provides a link between Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary (HIOWC) and the communities it serves by they serve through setting the budget and holding the Chief Constable to account in the delivery of an efficient and effective police service.

About the Role 

We are looking for a talented and creative Digital Marketing Manager to lead and deliver impactful digital communications for the OPCC. 

This is a dynamic and wide-ranging role that goes beyond traditional marketing. You’ll play a key part in content development, storytelling and brand management, helping the Commissioner connect meaningfully with communities and stakeholders across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. 

From developing digital campaigns to creating and editing compelling visual and video content, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how we communicate, inform, and engage. 

Key Responsibilities 

-Lead the development and delivery of multi-channel digital marketing and communications campaigns 

-Plan and deliver creative campaigns that raise awareness, build trust, and support community engagement 

-Create high-quality, engaging content across digital platforms, including photography, graphics, video, and written content 

-Manage and grow the OPCC’s digital presence across website, social media, and email channels 

-Ensure strong and consistent brand management, maintaining a clear visual and editorial identity 

-Use insight and analytics to evaluate performance and continuously improve activity 

-Work collaboratively with internal teams, policing colleagues, and partners

About You 

We’re looking for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, with a passion for creativity and storytelling. 

You will bring: 

-Proven experience in digital marketing, communications, or content creation

-A strong creative eye and an understanding of brand development and visual identity 

-Experience producing and editing digital content using Adobe Creative Suite (or similar*) including InDesign, Premiere Pro, Other Adobe tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator) (*training will be provided to the right candidate*).

-Confidence creating video and visual content as well as written communications 

-Strong understanding of digital channels, social media, and audience engagement 

-The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

-Experience working in the public sector or on public-facing campaigns would be an advantage, but not essential. 

A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
