Op Apprentice supports the force’s response to high-volume business crime; this is a key force priority and involves partnership work across the divisions to improve community engagement with the affected businesses to tackle business crime and provide support to business communities and to ultimately reduce the impact of business crime.

The Op Apprentice team deal with the most prolific offenders within business crime, and it is vital that evidence is captured at the earliest opportunity to support cases going to the CPS. The volunteer will be supporting with CCTV clips that received from businesses and creating single compilation of evidence.
• Supporting the Op Apprentice team by accessing the NICE system and creating a single compilation of CCTV images from a catalogue of images.
• Creating a unique image number and exhibit number for each compilation.
• Supporting the Op Apprentice team with other administrative tasks.
• IT proficient – a good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
• Good interpersonal skills – attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Organisation – ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
