Occupational Health Nurse

About the Role

We are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality occupational health services across Lincolnshire. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines virtual and face-to-face clinical work, helping to promote the health, wellbeing, and safety of our workforce.

Based at Force Headquarters, you will also travel across the county when required to deliver assessments, support employees, and contribute to proactive health and wellbeing initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will:

  • Deliver occupational health services including health surveillance, new starter and recruitment medicals, and fitness for task assessments.
  • Conduct clinical interventions and issue fitness certificates to support recruitment and line management decisions.
  • Provide body fluid exposure risk assessments and follow-up support.
  • Contribute to annual health MOTs and specialist medical assessments.
  • Support workplace health promotion activities, presentations, and vaccination programmes.
  • Work closely with occupational health colleagues and other healthcare professionals to support employee wellbeing and fitness for work.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records and reports.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, governance activities, and continuous service improvement.
