We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as a Neighbourhood Policing Support Officer. Working 32 hours per week, 8 hours per day for 4 days (days to be agreed) based at Morriston Police Station. Could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
The Neighbourhood Policing Support Officers are part of the South Wales Police Neighbourhood Policing teams. This role provides support to Sector teams to enable them to fulfil the objectives of the Neighbourhood Policing Strategy.
About the role and your key responsibilities :
The successful candidates will provide support to the Neighbourhood Inspector, to monitor and co-ordinate allocated tasks and priorities between sector police resources, partner agencies and communities on their behalf.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
Demonstrates strong administrative skills with the ability to effectively organise and prioritise a varied workload, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently. Possesses excellent attention to detail, maintaining high levels of accuracy when managing records, preparing documentation, and handling sensitive information. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database systems, enable the effective management, analysis, and presentation of information. Capable of conducting research, gathering and evaluating information from a range of sources to support informed decision-making and service delivery. Able to work independently and collaboratively, maintaining effective communication and a professional approach while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to RV Vetting.
