You will travel between sites to complete scheduled cleaning tasks, while also responding to urgent or ad-hoc operational requirements. The role requires a strong focus on health and safety, hygiene standards, and infection prevention, ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Deliver high-quality cleaning services across multiple police sites, including:
Offices
Communal areas
Welfare facilities
Operational environments, including Custody suites
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection prevention, including effective touchpoint cleaning
Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE safely and correctly, in line with COSHH and Health & Safety guidance
Follow safe systems of work, including correct colour coding and task sequencing to prevent cross-contamination
Maintain appropriate levels of cleaning stock and equipment within Force vehicles
Complete cleaning records and logs accurately, reporting any issues or shortages
Identify and report hazards, maintenance issues, or security concerns promptly
Respond flexibly to operational priorities, including urgent or reactive cleaning tasks
