This is an exciting job opportunity to assist in the identification of threat, risk and harm in the Oxfordshire LCU. You will be involved in the reading, interpretation and dissemination of intelligence on a daily basis, communicating and incorporating intelligence at daily and operational briefings. You will own intelligence development projects for the LCU in areas such as drug dealing, burglary, sexual offending, firearms, and risk mitigation. You will support complex investigations, advising on and conducting intelligence enquiries using police, open and closed source systems.

In this role, you will interrogate, retrieve and input data to and from computer systems in compliance with force policy and relevant legislation (e.g. Data Protection Act). You will use available intelligence systems to develop information and intelligence relating to problems and subjects, prepare intelligence packages in respect of the same.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and be able to use their own initiative, working effectively with minimum supervision whilst remaining team focused.
