Salary: The starting salary is £36,228, which includes allowances totalling £3,009.
The salary is broken down as £33,219 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £ 35,541. Plus, a location allowance of £2,009 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

About the Role
As an Integrated Intelligence Support Officer, you will support the identification, assessment and management of integrity-related risks associated with police officers, police staff, contractors and volunteers. Working under the guidance of experienced intelligence and vetting professionals, you will assist with intelligence gathering, research, information management and case support activities that contribute to informed decision-making and organisational risk management.
The post builds strong foundations in intelligence assessment, research, information governance and professional judgement, while providing exposure to complex integrity risk management and decision-making frameworks. What You'll Be Doing
You will:
- Receive, review and assess reports of wrongdoing, conducting initial fact-finding and escalating risks as appropriate.
- Conduct research, system checks and open-source enquiries to support intelligence development and vetting activity.
- Identify emerging patterns, trends and risk indicators to support intelligence assessments.
- Compile evidence, summaries, timelines and supporting documentation for intelligence products and decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of briefing packs, intelligence reports and strategic updates.
- Support vetting and intelligence case reviews through research, document management and maintaining case files.
- Help prepare interview packs, disclosure documentation and evidence bundles.
- Attend meetings and interviews as required to take notes and maintain accurate records.
- Manage sensitive information securely and in line with information governance requirements.
- Maintain trackers, dashboards and records to support effective case management and performance monitoring.

This role does not attract Shift Disturbance Allowance. If you are currently in a shift-working role, SDA should cease upon appointment to this job.
