We are seeking two part-time Initial Police Trainers to help shape the next generation of Police Officers within Lincolnshire Police. In this rewarding role, you will design, deliver and evaluate high-quality training for students undertaking initial police training, ensuring they develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to perform their duties confidently, safely and effectively.
Working closely with Learning and Development colleagues, force personnel and a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering innovative learning solutions that meet national policing standards and organisational requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing- Designing, delivering, evaluating and updating training programmes within the Police Constable Entry Programme curriculum.
- Supporting the ongoing professional development of Lincolnshire Police officers and staff.
- Monitoring learner progress and providing guidance, support and constructive challenge to help students achieve required standards.
- Developing engaging learning activities that improve training quality and effectiveness.
- Carrying out assessments to ensure learners demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for operational policing.
- Contributing to training planning, scheduling and delivery to meet organisational demand.
- Providing welfare support and guidance where appropriate.
- Undertaking risk assessments for training activities and supporting associated administrative processes.
This role is vital to ensuring that Police Officers are equipped with the skills, knowledge and professional standards needed to serve the public effectively. By delivering high-quality learning experiences, you will help maintain operational excellence, support organisational performance and contribute to a culture that reflects the values of being open, courageous, fair and inclusive.
