We are offering an exciting paid placement for a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our Information Communications Technology (ICT) for a 12‑month industry placement. This role is ideal for students who want to gain hands‑on experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop professional skills within a supportive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Student Placement within Information Communications Technology (ICT), you will support the team with a range of tasks, which may include: 

 

  • Agreeing the most appropriate technical solution(s) to meet business reporting and analytics needs
  • Understanding, interpreting, and navigating complex database structures across multiple systems
  • Extracting, transforming, and validating data from relational and non‑relational data sources
  • Developing, optimising, and maintaining efficient and scalable SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
  • Building and maintaining SSRS reports, Power BI dashboards, and SSAS cubes to deliver insights across the business

 

Your work will contribute directly to the department’s objectives and provide valuable real‑world experience.
