This is an exciting new role within the Victim Care Unit, who are a specialist team within the Force providing support to victims of crime across Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We need the role holder to deliver specialist, victim-centred and needs-based support to victims of stalking, as well as offering advice to improve the Force's response to stalking victims.
You will be required to manage a caseload and provide expert advocacy support to victims of stalking. This will include: communication via phone/email/face-to-face visits, completing risk assessments, safeguarding, devising and delivering support plans, liaising with appropriate agencies, and providing advice and information regarding stalking legislation, VCOP rights and navigating the criminal justice process.
