Hydra: Policing Experience Hydra Policing Experience Day

Hydra Policing Experience Day

Real‑World Decision‑Making for Future Police Officers (Ages 16–18/19)

Are you studying Public/Protective Services, Criminology, Policing, or another blue‑light pathway?
Do you want genuine insight into how police officers make decisions during real‑time incidents?

If you’re serious about exploring a policing career, this experience is designed for you.

What Is Hydra?

Hydra is a professional police training simulation used across the UK to prepare officers for:

  • managing critical incidents
  • making fast, evidence‑based decisions
  • working under pressure in a safe, realistic environment
  • You’ll take part in the same type of immersive exercise used by serving officers, investigators, and specialist teams.

This is not a taster session — it’s an inside look at modern policing.
